Chubby Cheeks

September has been an exciting month of firsts. It was topped off by seconds as we had our 2nd visit to the pediatrician. This time she weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 6oz (just look at those cheeks) with a length increase of 1 inch, putting her at 21 inches long-wow!!  We are so happy she is doing well and that she has so many people in her life that love her.

Cousin Dylan

Sophia could not wait to meet her first cousin Dylan. He is 3.5 months older. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances the first meeting was brief, but here they are hanging out. Sophia cannot wait to see him again.

First Play Date

Sophia's friend Audrey (daughter of Charlotte and Mike) stopped by to play.

At first they didn't feel like talking, but after a while they realized they had a lot to chat about.

Audrey even decided to give Sophia few tips on her crying technique.

Noah's 3rd Birthday

More Family and Fun

The following week out of town family Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Chantal and Uncle Brian visited. Aunt Chantal and Uncle Brain even had to dodge hurricane Gustav just to make the trip. Sophia entertained her guests by performing an all out cry-a-thon. Here she is showing off for Uncle Brian.

Healthy and Bigger

Sophia had her first pediatric appointment weighing in at 6lbs 12oz. This confirmed I wasn't going crazy... I knew she was eating nonstop! Finally her length was measured, since this was over looked during her hospital stay. The measurement technique wasn't very technical, but it measured her at a length of 20 inches long. The following day we put her purple party outfit on for her first big debut. Mimi and Pops hosted the soiree so she could meet the rest of the extended family and a few close friends. Here she is already tuckered out and the party hasn't even started.
