St. Patrick's Day Parade and Visit to Canandaigua

We attended the annual Syracuse St. Patty's Parade in support of my Dad (Pops) in his mission to expose Excellus for their disservices to providers and health care recipients in our community. To learn more about this issue you can go to Choices West. Please sign the petition so we can stop mistreatment by health insurance companies. Anyway, Pops was a part of the teamster float (they are standing behind his efforts to provide health care). This year's purpose was to support health care for all Americans—what a great idea! Then Sunday we spent a nice day with Nonna by driving to Canandaigua to see Andrew. We ate at Simply Crepes, the restaurant where Andrew is working as chef. The food was excellent! While Andrew finished working we strolled down to the lake and on our way back met Andrew and Alex at the NY Wine and Culinary Center. This place blew my mind—they support all NYS foods and wine—they had a beautiful wine tasting room, a restaurant, and best of all 2 huge cooking classrooms. I cannot wait to go back and take a class.

  1. our visit to Canandaigua WAS a fine day -- wonderful weather, sensational food, and great company! Your commendation of the NY Wine & Culinary Center is well deserved --I'm looking forward to it again, too!
